Annual Festival of Whales (Mar 3, 4 & 10, 11)

The Festival of Whales celebrates migrating whales that use Dana Point's headland
as a landmark on their journey southward with a two-weekend festival. Includes a
street fair, children's carnival, pancake breakfast, art festival, and demonstrations.
Miss Anaheim Scholarship Pageant (Mar 11)

This annual scholarship pageant is affiliated with the Miss America Organization. The
competition, usually held in February, emphasizes community involvement and volunteerism
for its participants. Each contestant must identify a platform, an issue or problem that
she would promote during her tenure as Miss Anaheim. The winner goes on to compete for
the title of Miss California.
St. Patrick's Day Celebration (Mar 17)

The Anaheim Farmer's Market downtown hosts an authentic celebration with Irish dancers,
music and food.
Return of the Swallows Celebration (Mar 18-19)

Participate in a festival of live entertainment, Aztec dancing food, and the traditional
ringing of the Mission Bell to celebrate the swallows' annual return to Capistrano.
Includes a Swallows Day Parade on the 19th of March, and Family Day on the 20th of March.

incredible bubble laser and light show featuring world-famous bubble artist and Guinness
Book record holder, Fan Yang. Plus, families can have photos taken standing INSIDE a giant
